Lakeside Country Club is located at Numurkah, an easy two and a half hour drive north of Melbourne. The resort is set on 30 hectares (65 acres) around a 16 hectare (35 acre) man-made lake and along with the sunny climate, even in winter, contributes to the relaxed holiday atmosphere. Being just 20 minutes north of Shepparton and 20 minutes south of the Murray River, Numurkah is the central hub to access nearby tourist attractions. Cobram is just a 20 minute drive, the historic town of Echuca with Paddle Steamers and its in-land port is just a 45 minute drive so is the the boating mecca of Yarrawonga and Lake Mulwala. Other attractions within easy reach as a day tour include Ned Kelly’s Last Stand at Glenrowan and the ski fields of the Victorian High Country.
